The sale of cookies with a smiling face on them is going to help make some patients at Saskatchewan Hospital a little more comfortable.
The three Tim Hortons in the Battlefords donated $11,724.77 to Saskatchewan Hospital.
The money was raised by the Tim Hortons Smile Cookie campaign that took place on Sept. 19 to 25. One hundred percent of the money raised through the sale of smile cookies is donated to local charities and community groups.
Glenn Isaac, who owns one of the Tim Hortons in North Battleford, along with Marion Michnik who owns the other two recently presented a cheque to the Saskatchewan Hospital.
The Saskatchewan Hospital said it will use the money to purchase special equipment to make patients more comfortable during their stay at the hospital.
