A man facing a charge connected to an attack caught on video in Battleford made his first appearance at North Battleford provincial court Monday.
Adam Lesmeister, 46, of Battleford, is facing a charge of assault in the July 17 incident.
His case was adjourned to Sept. 19 for a plea, according to the court office.

Police responded to a complaint of an assault on 17th Street East in Battleford.
The initial investigation found out that a man was approached by three men he did not know. One of the three men allegedly assaulted him; all three left the area before officers arrived. The victim received medical attention for non-life-threatening injuries.
The Federation of Sovereign Indigenous Nations (FSIN) issued a statement following the attack, calling the attack racially motivated.
