A teacher living with obesity, Charlie (Fraser), decides to eat himself to death in “The Whale.” As a result of the abandonment and death of his gay lover, Charlie became addicted to binge-eating. Meanwhile, Charlie is trying to reconnect with his 17-year-old daughter, played by “Stranger Things” favorite Sadie Sink. This is the last chance for the 600-pound man to redeem himself with his child.
